Arusha · Tarangire · Serengeti · Ngorongoro
Elephant country, endless plains and the Ngorongoro Crater in one beautifully paced private safari.

Elephant herds, baobab trees and seasonal wilderness.
Famous for large elephant families, ancient baobabs and dry-season wildlife around the Tarangire River.
Tarangire is often the first park on a northern Tanzania safari and regularly becomes a favourite. Its ancient baobab trees, some many centuries old, give the landscape a character unlike anywhere else on the circuit.
During the dry season the Tarangire River is the only permanent water in the region, drawing some of the largest elephant concentrations in Tanzania, along with buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and the predators that follow them.
Tarangire is also excellent for birdlife, with more than 500 recorded species, and it is close enough to Arusha to enjoy a full game drive on your first safari day.

Tarangire is about two to three hours' drive from Arusha on tarred road, making it an easy first or last stop on a northern circuit safari.
June to October, when the river attracts large herds. The green season is quieter and beautiful, but wildlife spreads out across a wider area.
Yes. It offers some of Tanzania's best elephant viewing, a distinctive baobab landscape and fewer vehicles than the Serengeti or Ngorongoro.
